I’ve just finished making a medal cabinet for The Watch House Museum on Rocky island, Seaton Sluice. All it needs is the medals putting in and it’s all finished.

The grade II listed, Watch House dates from 1880 when it became the HQ of the Seaton Sluice Volunteer Life-Saving Company. The company, formed in 1876, were based onshore and operated by firing a line to stricken vessels, hauling crew and passengers ashore.

Well worth a visit.
