Finished off a lovely green oak pergoda in the Great Park, Gosforth today. It has a green oak structure with a rubber roof finished off with a living Sedums. I used galvanized metal post feet to keep the posts out of the ground and it’s all bolted together with galvanized bolts. The back wall brickwork was covered with tantalized timber. The green oak was cleaned of it’s black marks using Oxalic acid and washed clear with clean water. It really brought out the grain.I thinks its a pergoda but it could be a pergola or perhaps a hybrid of the two, looks great though.
