Oak Flooring

I’ve just spent the last two weeks on my hands and knees laying this fantastic oak flooring. 70 square meters of 58mm wide solid oak strip flooring to a 1930’s house. It was made to match the existing oak flooring and ran into the new extension. All ready for sanding and polishing.

New Traditional Casement Window

Here is a traditional hardwood casement window we fitted in Morpeth recently. The original stained glass was removed from the old window, repaired then encapsulated in double glazed units. I think you’ll agree it looks fantastic.

New hardwood front door and frame

Here is another uPVC replacement done in Heaton. I took out the old plastic door and frame and fitted a new hardwood one. The glass was made specially by Traditional Stained Glass in Winlaton, all new leaded glass encased in double glazing. Here is the finished job, just needs painting.

All plastered up now and waiting for the new oak flooring. Hanging new oak doors throughout the house with new handles […]

Fitted cupboards and shelving

A nice set of cupboards and shelving either side of the chimney breast made and fitted for a customer in Gosforth. The space between the top of the cupboard and the first shelf on the left hand side will be filled with their HUGE telly. I also made them a little window seat in the […]

Better Weather

With the better weather I’ve spent the last two days running round getting all the small outside jobs done. Fix a gate here, mend a fence there, repair some decking and sorting out the outside seating for a school amphitheatre.

New Legs

Another unusual job making new legs for the butchers block at Charlotte’s Butchery in Gosforth. Adjustable feet to take into account the uneven floor and thick sturdy timber legs. Nice gluten free sausages as well.
