Porch Canopy
Here’s a fabulous porch canopy built in Gosforth this week. The brackets are made from Accoya and match next door. The framing is also Accoya with softwood T&G soffit. The roof covering will be code 5 lead then a nice lick of white paint.

Happy Christmas

Arched Double Doors
Fitted these fantastic Accoya double doors and frame in Gosforth recently. The doors are 57mm thick and have a heritage multipoint locking mechanism, working from the euro profile cylinder. Double glazed fanlight with numbers hand painted on.
New porch in Gosforth
A beautiful porch finished this week in Gosforth. Made from Accoya to match the existing porch that was beyond repair. New slate roof with lead flashings and a lead covering to the small canopy over the door. All ready for a lick of paint.
New Front Door
A massive Accoya front door hung this week in Gosforth. Made to be an exact match for the old one that was badly warped. I matched the glass details and the mouldings. Four new hinges, locks and letter plate but re-used the existing knobs. The door is 950 x 2039 x 55mm thick and is […]

Victorian Staircase Repair
A tricky job this week repairing a Victorian staircase that had been butchered. New ends on the treads, new brackets and new spindles. Also new nosings along the landing. managed to tighten the existing handrail and bold the newel up from the floor to stiffen it up. Looks a lot better.
