A Sedum Roof

An unusual job for me to lay a sedum roof but it followed on from the rest of the work so it seemed to make sense.

Starting with building a new flat roof over the existing double garage and shipping container. Then the EPDM rubber roof went on followed by the drainage layer, aggregate then the sedums.

Give the sedums a couple of weeks to settle in and start growing then it will all look great.

Starting to clad the shipping container and concrete garage with reclaimed timbers next so it all blends together.

The whole job used reclaimed timbers from a house being demolished and the rest from Stan Dawson in Kirkley, Northumberland.
